My name is Dan and I am the owner and chief instructor at GST Training. I am fortunate to be able to combine two of my passions, shooting and teaching.

My goal is simple, to provide professional firearms training to responsible citizens & I try to do this at a reasonable price. While I have trained experienced Law Enforcement officers for many years I really enjoys teaching new shooters. Basic firearms skills taught correctly  really help people enjoy their shooting activities . I believe in teaching in a relaxed and fun environment. You will not only learn a lot about what ever discipline you are interested in, you'll have fun doing it.

I have been in Law Enforcement for over 24 years. I have worked as a Patrol Officer, Investigator, Detective, K-9 Officer, Drug Task Force Commander and SWAT Officer and commander.

I am a certified NRA instructor in Basic Pistol, Shotgun and Rifle. I am a NRA certified Range Safety Officer.

I am a Arizona and Utah Police Officer Standards and Training  (POST) Pistol, Shotgun and Rifle Instructor, AZ High Risk Vehicle Stop Instructor, AZ Judgmental Shooting Instructor as well as both Arizona and Utah Concealed Firearms Instructor.

I have trained officers in judgmental shooting, high risk vehicle stops, less lethal, high risk entries, active shooter, basic & advanced SWAT, close quarter battle (CQB) and low light shooting.
