Steps Shotgun
Is a NRA's program. Learn the fundamentals
required to hit moving targets
with a shotgun. Students acquire proper
attitude, knowledge and
skills in a 3+ hours course that includes skeet
shooting.

NRA Basic Shotgun Class *
Shotgun shooting is a fun and rewarding experience. This class will
introduce you to the world of shotgun shooting and its techniques. Course
topics include How Your Shotgun Works, Ammunition, Selecting a Shotgun,
Safety, Caring For Your Shotgun, Fundamentals of Shotgun Shooting, Advanced
Shooting Skills and Shotgun Shooting Opportunities. The live fire portion of
the class will be conducted at an outdoor shotgun range where you will get
the opportunity to shoot clays out of the air. Please dress appropriately for
the weather. Students are encouraged to bring their own shotgun. If you do
not have your own, a 12 guage pump action shotgun will be provided.
Ammunition will NOT be provided for this course. Approximately 50
shotgun shells will be required. All other materials will be provided. A
certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of the course.
