 Tactical Handgun
 

This course is for the pistol shooter would already has a basic knowledge of shooting and wishes to increase their skill set with the pistol. Topics include, drawing from the holster, strong & weak hand drawing, strong & weak hand shooting. reloading, malfunctions, multiple threats, shooting on the move,  unusual firing positions, close quarter drills, point shooting, failure to stop drills& target discrimination, competition shooting.

Maximum Students: 16

Prerequisites: None

Necessary Equipment: Notebook, pen and pencil, serviceable revolver or semiautomatic pistol,  secure belt holster ( NO clip on) 2 extra magazine (minimum), 500 round of ammunition (factory)  shooting glasses, ear protection,  appropriate clothing for inclement weather (hot, cold, rain or snow), minimum 2qt water container, sack lunch

Recommended Equipment: sunscreen, hydration system, hat, knee and elbow pads, hiking or tactical boots, pants with cargo pockets, tinted glasses, multi tool, range bag, thumb drive for class photos.
